Beverly R. Davidek is a native of San Diego, California. She has been a licensed attorney in Texas since 1994. Throughout her career, her practice areas have included estate planning, business law, employment law, corporate counsel for AT&T, and Assistant District Attorney in Bexar County Texas. She has been employed at various mid- to large-sized firms including Escamilla & Poneck, LLP and Henslee, Fowler, Hepworth & Schwartz, LLP. Having departed from the world of big law firms, in-house corporate counsel, and governmental entity work to open a boutique law firm focused on the needs of families and family-owned businesses large and small, Ms. Davidek’s practice areas are estate planning, asset protection, and business law.
Ms. Davidek is a member of WealthCounsel, Asset Protection Council, the State Bar of Texas’ Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law (REPTL) Section, and the State Bar College. A former teacher, she is passionate about educating families and family-owned businesses about estate planning and asset protection. She is a frequent speaker on these topics.
Ms. Davidek is also Mom to three wonderful grown men, and she is an admitted health and wellness junkie. She and her husband Dirk are world travelers, and one of their favorite places in the world is also their home – where Dirk grew up — in New Braunfels, Texas. Her physical office has been in the family since it served as the business office for the Davideks’ chain of restaurants, starting in 1978.
