Edward Dower brings to his clients more than 40 years of experience helping people with life’s biggest issues. Since 1985 he has worked as an independent financial advisor. He provides objective, unbiased advice in his client’s best interest. Ed spent four years as a pastor and 12 years as a high school teacher before turning his attention to helping people clarify and achieve their financial goals.
His experience in the ministry and in the classroom taught him how to make complex concepts understandable and helped him gain the invaluable traits of patience, empathy, and the ability to listen.
In each of his careers Ed has dedicated himself to becoming the best that he could be. He earned a Master of Divinity degree and a doctorate in Education from Andrews University in Michigan. Ed’s licenses include Series 7, 24, 31, 51, 63, and 65. Each year he devotes many hours to continuing education, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to the pursuit of excellence as a financial advisor.
Ed and his wife Donna, native Northern Californians, began their partnership in high school. Ed was the class president and Donna served as class secretary. Together they raised three children and together they survived the loss of their oldest daughter when she was a senior in high school. They know firsthand the overwhelming sense of grief that arises when a family member dies. They learned how to keep life moving forward while allowing the grieving process to unfold naturally.
