Scott has worked in private practice, government practice and done significant pro bono work in the nonprofit world. He has been a solo practitioner, worked in a Midwest mega-firm, and has found the right size in a boutique firm. In addition to law work, Scott has founded a nonprofit, a public affairs firm, and a real estate holding and management company. He has extensive experience in nonprofit board development and issue advocacy at the state and local level.
Scott’s community engagement has centered around public safety, literacy & libraries, healthcare initiatives, and nonprofit grant application evaluation & awards.
A lifelong Nebraskan, Scott has lived over a decade in each of Nebraska’s congressional districts. He is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, and the FBI Citizens Academy. He and his wife Paige have four children.
